Yellowcard have announced their first new album in almost a decade.

The pop-punk veterans will release 'Better Days' through Better Noise Music on October 10. Co-produced by Blink-182's Travis Barker, who also plays drums on every track, it also features collaborations with Avril Lavigne and Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio. Frontman Ryan Key said:

"I started the record as one version of myself and came out the other side changed. I went in knowing I needed help. I came out of it writing songs like I was 19 again."

To coincide with the news, the band have shared two songs from the record, the title track, which arrives with a video, and Honestly I. The former is rooted in their familiar pop-punk sound, while the latter is a more poppy, experimental offering.

Yellowcard will play a number of European festivals next month, before dates in Brazil in August, and appearances at Las Vegas festival When We Were Young in October. Tickets are on sale now.

The band's latest studio album is their 2016 self-titled effort. They disbanded a year later, following a farewell tour, before reuniting in 2022 and putting out the 'Childhood Eyes' EP in 2023. Last year, they collaborated with ambient post-rock duo Hammock for the 'A Hopeful Sign' LP.
