Finneas and Ashe have announced a new band called The Favors.
The Grammy-winning American producer and US singer have also revealed that they've recorded an album titled 'The Dream', with a release date slated for September 19. Confirming the news with a post on the band's new Instagram page, the duo confirmed their debut single, The Little Mess You Made, will arrive this Friday (June 6). They wrote:
"We made a band. It’s called The Favors. Announcing our new album, The Dream, out September 19. Debut single, “The Little Mess You Made”, Friday, June 6. We deeply loved making this music together in secret and can’t wait for it to finally make it’s way to you."
Finneas shared a post on his Instagram story: "Over the past 18 months, Ashe and I have been toiling away on this album and I really mean it when I say I could not be more proud of it – David Marinelli on drums, Ricky Gourmet on guitar – I love being in a band."
The news follows Finneas' sophomore album, 'For Cryin’ Out Loud!', which arrived last October. Last month, he shared a video featuring Kate Hudson for the track 2001.
He'll join Gracie Abrams, Gigi Perez, Paris Paloma, Hazlett, Jo Hill, Sebastian Schub, Sydney Rose, Kevin Atwater and Lily Fitts in supporting Noah Kahan at the London series BST Hyde Park on July 4. He'll also appear at multiple European and North American festivals over the coming months.
Ashe, meanwhile, put out her third LP, 'Wilson', in September 2024. She'll perform at London's Omeara on July 8, with tickets for the show on general sale at 10am on Thursday (June 5). She is currently touring North America and plays a gig in Brooklyn, New York tonight (June 3).
