Cate Le Bon Announces Seventh Album 'Michelangelo Dying' With Lead Single Heaven Is No Feeling

Cate Le Bon has announced her seventh album.
The Welsh artist will release 'Michelangelo Dying' through Mexican Summer on September 26, following up 2022's 'Pompeii'.
Comprising 10 songs, it took shape between Cardiff, London, Los Angeles and the Greek island of Hydra, with Le Bon sharing production duties with Samur Khouja. It also features longtime collaborator Euan Hinshelwood, along with contributions from John Cale, drummers Valentina Magaletti and Dylan Hadley, and keyboardist Paul Jones. Le Bon said:
"There’s this idea that you could do everything yourself, but the value of having someone you completely trust, as I do Samur, be your co-pilot allows you to get completely lost knowing you’ll get pulled back in at the right moment. We have come to quietly move as one in the studio."
As a preview, the musician has shared the lead single from the record, Heaven Is No Feeling, which serves up a woozy and atmospheric, art-pop aesthetic. Head below to view the song's accompanying video, directed by H. Hawkline, who said:

Le Bon will kick off an extensive tour across North America, Europe and the UK with a performance at Cardiff's Llais festival on October 9. Tickets for the new dates go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (June 6).
