Cate Le Bon Enlists St. Vincent For New Single Always The Same

Cate Le Bon has returned with a new single, Always The Same.
The hazy, atmospheric art-pop offering features guest vocals from St. Vincent over minimal production comprising restrained guitars and soft synths. Le Bon said:
"Always The Same needed a little more elbow room than the album would allow but it is cousin to the song cycle of 'Michelangelo Dying', coming into formation in the same breath. Special to me because it features dear friend and mighty artist St. Vincent who occupies the space around me with composure and gravitas whilst I kick around in the dirty waters of love.”
The release marks the pair's second collaboration, after the Welsh artist contributed to the title track of St. Vincent’s multi-Grammy-winning 2024 album 'All Born Screaming'.
Le Bon released her seventh album, 'Michelangelo Dying', last September, which she'll support with a North American tour beginning next week. Tickets are on sale now.
Additionally, Le Bon’s latest production project, Dry Cleaning's new album 'Secret Love', is set for release tomorrow (January 9).
