Sprints have laid out plans for their second studio album.
Following the success of their 2024 debut 'Letter To Self', the Dublin punk quartet will release 'All That Is Over' on September 26 via City Slang worldwide, and Sub Pop in North America, marking their first release with the legendary label.
The band have also shared a new single, Descartes, a fierce garage-punk offering with distorted guitars and driving drums. Singer Karla Chubb said:
"Descartes was written on a plane while reading Outline by Rachel Cusk. Sparked directly from the line “Vanity is the curse of our culture”, the rest of the song spilled out of me quite instantaneously. Descartes explores the idea of needing to write and create as a means of survival, not just a means of expression, and how important that is to me as a person to try to understand and process the world around me."
They'll return to the UK and Ireland in the autumn for a newly announced headline tour, followed by European dates in March next year. Tickets for those shows go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (June 27).
'All That Is Over' tracklist:
1. Abandon
2. To The Bone
3. Descartes
4. Need
5. Beg
6. Rage
7. Something’s Gonna Happen
8. Pieces
9. Better
10. Coming Alive
11. Desire
