Lewis Capaldi is back with his first new single in two years.
The guitar-led ballad Survive finds the Scottish singer-songwriter emotionally candid and defiant: “I swear to God I’ll survive, if it kills me to, I’m gonna’ get up and try, if it’s the last thing I’ll do”. Watch the Henry Dockrill-directed video below, which features behind-the-scenes footage from the road and at home.
It's a poignant return following a health-related hiatus that began following his Glastonbury set in 2023, during which he struggled to perform, but was able to finish his set with the help of the Pyramid State crowd. That same year he released his latest album, 'Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent', which hit the top of the UK charts.
There's currently no news on a follow-up, but in dropping the new song the same weekend as Glastonbury, many are speculating he could be playing a secret set.
