Public Enemy have surprise released a new album!
'Black Sky Over The Projects: Apartment 2025' is available exclusively on Bandcamp with a “pay-what-you-want” option for 72 hours to show thanks to their fans. Chuck D said: “This album is a give back to all of our fans with gratitude and appreciation. We see and appreciate you."
"We’re bringing our beats to the world on this tour and with this album,” added Flavor Flav. “So if you can’t get yourself to the stadiums and the festivals, then these new tracks are for you to get down to at home. Pay whatcha want for the next 72 hours.”
The record arrives ahead of their one-off London show at the Royal Albert Hall tonight (June 27), which will commemorate the 35th anniversary of their seminal anthem, Fight The Power.
Public Enemy released their previous studio album, ’What You Gonna Do When The Grid Goes Down?’, back in 2020. They'll support Guns N' Roses at select European shows in July.
