Rainbow Kitten Surprise Announce New Album 'Bones'

Rainbow Kitten Surprise have laid out plans for their new album.
The genre-bending American band will release 'Bones' through Atlantic Records on September 26, following up 2024's 'Love Hate Music Box'. Its tracklist includes last month's single, Dang.
The record was helmed by Jay Joyce, who previously collaborated with the band on 2018's 'How To: Friend, Love, Freefall', and whose other production credits include Cage The Elephant, Orville Peck and Lainey Wilson. Comprising 10 tracks, it finds vocalist-guitarist Ela Melo at her most vulnerable lyrically. The band said:
"This record is the raw unfiltered sound of Rainbow Kitten Surprise doing what we love to do. We called it bones because we were clearing skeletons out of our closet. These were both musical and interpersonal dynamics that we had to release before we could make this record what it is."
The announcement comes amid Rainbow Kitten Surprise's Thanks For Coming Tour across North America, which continues with a performance in Jacksonville, Oregon on Sunday (August 10). Early next year, they'll take their new Bones Tour to Australia, with the trek including dates in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney supporting Ocean Alley.
Tickets for their new headline shows Down Under go on general sale at 11am local time on August 12. All other dates are on sale now.
