A$AP Rocky Shares Two New Songs From Highest 2 Lowest Soundtrack

A$AP Rocky has shared two new tracks.
Titled Trunks and Both Eyes Closed, the songs serve as the Harlem hip hop giant's contribution to the soundtrack album accompanying Academy Award-winner Spike Lee's new crime-thriller film, Highest 2 Lowest, in which Rocky stars alongside Denzel Washington, among others.
The former delivers Rocky's signature bold, boastful energy, while the latter is a more subdued, introspective offering.
The film was released in US cinemas last Friday (August 15), and will be available to stream on Apple TV+ from September 5. The soundtrack is also out now.
The multi-hyphenate artist's long-teased album, 'Don't Be Dumb', is still yet to receive a release date. Last month, he dropped the single Pray4DaGang featuring KayCyy, which followed his 2024 singles Ruby Rosary featuring J. Cole, and Tailor Swif.
He recently cancelled a number of European tour dates, including headline slots at Pukkelpop in Belgium, Lowlands in the Netherlands, and Rock En Seine in France. His team haven't clearly explained the reasons for the cancellations, but the timing hints it might be linked to his partner Rihanna's pregnancy.
