Madi Diaz Teases 'Fatal Optimist' With New Single Ambivalence

Madi Diaz has shared a new single, Ambivalence.
A stripped back acoustic track that builds subtly in emotional intensity, it arrives with a video directed by Allister Ann.
The ballad marks the second preview of the Los Angeles artist's new album, 'Fatal Optimist', due out on October 10 via ANTI‑. Diaz introduced the record last month alongside the release of the delicate folk offering Feel Something. Commenting on the record, she said:
"Fatal Optimism is the innate hope for something magical. It’s the weird faith that kicks in while knowing that there is just plain risk that comes with wanting someone or something. It’s when you have no control over the outcome, but still choose to experience every moment that happens, and put your whole heart in it."
She'll support the LP with a previously scheduled North American tour in the fall. Tickets are on sale now.
