Ani Glass has released a new single titled Acwariwm.
Driven by a pulsing beats, the dreamy Welsh-language electro-pop track will feature on the Cardiff-based musician and producer's new album, 'Phantasmagoria', due out on September 26, European Day of Languages. She said:
"This song is about reconnecting with the world around you and reminding yourself to keep looking for hope in every corner, even when things seem dark."
Glass introduced the album alongside the release of the title track in June. The project includes lyrics in Welsh, Cornish and English, and draws inspiration from the diagnosis of a rare benign brain tumour Glass received in 2020, shortly before the release of her debut album, 'Mirores'.
She'll celebrate the record with a performance in Cardiff on release day, followed by dates in London, Carmarthen, Aberystwyth, Wrexham and Swansea. Head here details. Tickets are on sale now.
She's also among the latest wave of acts announced for this year's Sŵn Festival, taking place across Cardiff between October 16 and 18. Tickets are on sale now.
