Lola Young has shared another single from her upcoming album.
Revealing a more intimate side to her artistry, Spiders highlights the singer-songwriter's emotive storytelling over '90s grunge-influenced production. She said:
"Sometimes you want to kill what you're most scared of in life, but when you actually face up to it, it's really not as scary as you thought it would be."
The ballad is the latest preview of 'I’m Only F**king Myself', due out through Island Records on September 19. The Ivor Novello Rising Star winner and BRIT Award-nominated singer previously teased the follow-up to 2024's 'This Wasn’t Meant for You Anyway' with her earlier tracks D£aler, Not Like That Anymore and One Thing.
After a busy summer on the festival circuit, the South London artist is gearing up for a UK record store tour, kicking off later this month, ahead of her biggest headline UK shows next month in Manchester, Birmingham, and London. She'll then take her I’m Only F**king Myself Tour to North America in November and December, before appearances at Lollapalooza Argentina and Lollapalooza Brasil in March.
The singer also recently confirmed a run of European shows for next spring. Tickets for the new dates go on general sale at 10am local time next Friday (September 12). All other shows are on sale now.
