The Streets have announced a series of outdoor UK shows for summer 2026.

Mike Skinner and his band will perform their landmark album, 2004's 'A Grand Don’t Come For Free', front-to-back at eight shows spanning June, July and August.

They'll kick things off at Dreamland on June 26 as part of the Margate Summer Series, before headlining Bristol Sounds at Canons Marsh Amphitheatre the following day. From there, they'll head to Manchester for Sounds Of The City at Castlefield Bowl on July 11, followed by performances at London's Alexandra Palace Park on July 18, and Live at Ludlow Castle in Shropshire on July 23.

They'll also appear at Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds on July 24, and at Audley End House and Gardens in Essex on August 7 for Heritage Live, before wrapping up the run at Earlham Park, Norwich on August 21 for the Rock N Roll Circus series. Skinner said:

"'A Grand Don’t Come For Free' was a moment in time — for me, and for everyone who grew up with it. I wrote it as a story from beginning to end, even studying screenwriting to shape it and without the faintest idea how people would react. We’ve been looking for something bold to do with the live show, and we landed here: some tracks have never been played live, others haven’t surfaced in years. It’s a new challenge to bring the whole journey to life on stage, but I have an incredible band and we always give everything every night. So I’m certain we’ll make finding out what happened to that thousand quid a party every night."

Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am next Friday (October 17).

Last month, The Streets dropped the single Utopia, which followed their earlier tracks Brave St Andrew (written for the Amazon Prime Video documentary Built In Birmingham: Brady and the Blues), You Think You've Been Buried, and How To Win At Rock Paper Scissors.

Their latest album is 2023's 'The Darker The Shadow, The Brighter The Light', which has a companion film currently streaming on YouTube. Last summer, Skinner released a remixed edition of 'Fabric Presents The Streets' which included the singles End Of The Queue and No Better Than Chance.

Earlier this year, they headlined Meltdown Festival's opening night at London’s Royal Festival Hall, curated by Little Simz.
