The All-American Rejects have shared a new song.

Continuing the indie-leaning, power-pop sound the Oklahoma rock band showcased throughout their recent releases, Eggshell Tap Dancer offers a further taste of what to expect from their forthcoming album, due out in February. Vocalist Tyson Ritter explained:

"Eggshell Tap Dancer is about performing tenderness until your feet bleed. The character in the song is tiptoeing around someone who probably stopped listening three exits ago, but he’s still there — pulling rabbits out of hats, making balloon animals out of his own arteries. In the end, I think it’s a love song written for someone who’s just detached from the world and madly in love with obsession."

Full details on the follow-up to 2012's 'Kids In The Street' have yet to be announced, though the band have been teasing it since spring with the singles Sandbox, Easy Come, Easy Go, and Search Party!

They're currently on the road supporting Jonas Brothers on select dates of the fall leg of their Jonas20: Living The Dream Tour, a North American trek celebrating the siblings' 20th anniversary. They'll also play shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane as part of Australia's Good Things Festival in December. Tickets are on sale now.
