Master Peace Shares Declan McKenna Collaboration Fuck It Up

Master Peace has teamed up with Declan McKenna for a new single, Fuck It Up.
Honest and unapologetic, the urgent indie-pop track finds the close friends and collaborators looking back on their flaws and mistakes. Master Peace explained:
"Fuck It Up was me embracing my flaws and wanting to let kids know they don’t need to feel ashamed or embarrassed about messing up and that we’re all in it together. We're all fuck-ups in one way or another. This idea that everyone has to be perfect, that we’re not allowed to grow and learn, just isn't human to me. We're constantly evolving, and I wanted to get across that it’s okay to get it wrong sometimes.
“Declan came in and added his own take on what the song meant to him, and it turned into something I’m really proud of. It felt like me tearing off that ‘perfect musician’ skin and showing a kind of vulnerability I’ve never really expressed in my music before."
Fuck it Up follows Peace's late 2025 singles Good Times, Spin The Block and There's No More Underground, and arrives ahead of his new EP 'Stupid Kids', due out on February 27. He released his debut album, 'How To Make A Master Peace', in 2024. The same year he won the Rising Star Award at the Ivor Novello Awards.
Peace will tour the UK supporting Good Neighbours in February, calling in Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, London, Brighton, Bristol and Oxford. Tickets are on sale now.
McKenna, meanwhile, put out his latest album, and third overall, 'What Happened To The Beach?', in 2024.
