Billie Eilish's new concert film has been pushed back by almost two months.
Hit Me Hard And Soft: The Tour (Live In 3D) will now arrive on May 8 instead of March 20, the latter date being announced by the Grammy-winning pop star late last year.
Filmed during the singer's four-night sold-out run at Manchester's Co-Op Live arena in July 2025, as part of Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour supporting her 2024 album 'Hit Me Hard And Soft', the 3D project was co-directed by Eilish and Academy Award-winning filmmaker James Cameron (pictured).
Yesterday (January 26), Cameron took to social media to reveal that the release has been delayed due to technical issues, sharing a photograph of him working on the film. He wrote:
"We’re refining the cut; dialing in cool, new 3D tech; adding some special behind-the-scenes we know you’ll love. HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR (LIVE IN 3D) will now release Friday, May 8th. Worth the wait!"
Eilish released a previous concert film, Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter To Los Angeles, in 2021.
