The Amity Affliction Announce Ninth Album 'House Of Cards' And Accompanying UK & European Tour

The Amity Affliction have announced their ninth studio album.
The Australian metalcore giants will release 'House Of Cards' through Pure Noise Records on April 24, following up 2023's 'Not Without My Ghosts' and 2024's 'Let The Ocean Take Me (Redux)', an updated version of their 2014 album.
Drawing heavily on frontman Joel Birch's relationship with his late mother, 'House Of Cards' tackles themes of grief, trauma, faith and self-reckoning. It's also the band's first release to feature Jonny Reeves as clean vocalist, following his permanent appointment after previously serving as their touring bassist.
Coinciding with the announcement, the band have shared the record's bruising title track, which serves up their signature fusion of crushing heaviness and intense, deeply personal lyricism. Head below to view the song's video directed by Daniel Daly.
The band will support the album with a UK and European tour in September and October, featuring support from Silent Planet, Varials and Orthodox. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Monday (February 9).
They'll kick off a previously scheduled Australian tour next week, with support from In Hearts Wake and Redhook, followed by North American dates in the spring with August Burns Red, Boundaries, and Heavensgate. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.
