Anna Calvi has announced a new EP.

'Is This All There Is?' will arrive on March 20 and includes the BRIT and Mercury Prize-nominated British artist's collaborative cover of Bonnie "Prince" Billy's I See A Darkness with Perfume Genius that came out in October.

It'll also feature three more collaborations; a cover of Kraftwerk's 1981 song Computer Love with Laurie Anderson, the title track with The National's Matt Berninger, and a dark opening duet, God's Lonely Man with Iggy Pop.

Discussing the latter, Calvi said: "He’s disruptive, raw, and honest — a singular force. His presence was so perfect for the narrative of this song." Head below to view the song's intense video starring both artists which was shot in Miami with director Luigi Calabrese.

The EP serves as the first part of a trilogy of releases that look at how identity is reshaped, especially through falling in love, inspired by Calvi's own perspective after becoming a parent. She explained:

"Having a child was so transformative it made me consider the possibility that everything in life could potentially shift, and that is scary but incredibly freeing. I didn’t want to take anything for granted any more. I want to exist in the best way for my child. I wanted to ask the most basic human question - is this all there is?"

The project also has the feel of a cinematic journey, with the four songs forming a story, and is influenced by her work scoring season five and six of British gangster series Peaky Blinders and composing an opera with director Robert Wilson.

"Working on the final two seasons of Peaky Blinders changed how I make music," Calvi revealed. "I’ve always pictured my songs as mini films, but with this EP I wanted to tell a story that runs across all the tracks."

On the collaborators, she added: "The opportunity to be in the same space as people you love is so inspiring. To see how different people approach the same thing — it sharpens you. It’s thrilling."

Calvi released her latest studio album, 'Hunter', in 2018, which was followed by 'Hunted' in 2020, featuring interpretations of songs from its predecessor with the addition of some special guests.

She'll contribute a new song, Sunday Light, to the recently announced War Child collaborative charity album 'HELP(2)', due out on March 6 via War Child Records. The album also features tracks by Wolf Alice, Nilüfer Yanya, and Arctic Monkeys, who recently shared Opening Night, their first new song in four years.

'Is This All There Is?' tracklist:

1. God’s Lonely Man (feat. Iggy Pop)
2. I See A Darkness (feat. Perfume Genius)
3. Computer Love (feat. Laurie Anderson)
4. Is This All There Is? (feat Matt Berninger)
