Tori Amos Releases Third Single Gasoline Girls From Upcoming Album 'In Times Of Dragons'

Tori Amos has shared another song from her upcoming 18th album.
The piano-led Gasoline Girls expands the immersive world of 'In Times Of Dragons', following a fictionalised version of the Grammy-nominated American artist as she meets a lesbian motorcycle gang while escaping her corrupt "lizard demon" billionaire husband. Amos explained:
"Gasoline Girls is a metaphor for many different transformations - from a teenage girl becoming a woman, to shifts in gender identity or fundamental belief systems, to the life changes that come with pregnancy, motherhood and eventually menopause. The song explores the emotions that come with leaving one version of yourself behind and stepping into another."
Following Shush and Stronger Together, the song marks the third preview of the follow-up to 2021's 'Ocean To Ocean', due out on May 1 via Universal/Fontana.
Amos is currently amid her biggest UK and European tour to date, which continues with a performance at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall tomorrow (April 15). She will also tour the US in the summer.
While on the road, Amos has scheduled a series of special hosted Q&A sessions at HMV stores, and appears in Glasgow on April 15 before heading to London on April 22, where she will discuss the new album and answer questions from fans. Tickets are on sale now.
