Gengahr is a British indie rock band from London, consisting of frontman Felix Bushe, guitarist John Victor, bassist Hugh Schulte, and drummer Danny Ward.
Formed in 2013, the band released their debut single ‘Powder/Bathed In Light’, in 2014, followed by their debut album, ‘A Dream Outside’, which came out in June 2015. After a mysterious countdown on social media, they released the single Carrion in September 2017 with the impression there'd be more to follow.
The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK, as well as supporting the likes of The Maccabees, Jungle, Alt-J and Wolf Alice.
Gengahr get ready to play a Liverpool Music Week show at the magnet next month, then will head out on a UK tour in April/May 2018 to support their upcoming album, ’Where Wildness Grows’. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.

Gengahr’s sophomore album, ‘Where Wildness Grows’, arrives three years after the London indie-rockers’ refreshing debut, ‘A Dream Outside’, and following several false starts. Early recordings were rejected in favour of starting over, with extensive touring and the ensuing tiredness taking a toll as they looked to capitalise on an excellent opening move. So, was the wait worthwhile?
