The Decemberists Tickets, Tour Dates & Concerts 2019/2020 ♫

The Decemberists are an American indie folk/rock band from Portland, Oregon. Formed in 2000, the band consists of frontman and songwriter Colin Meloy, multi-instrumentalists Chris Funk, and Jenny Conlee, bassist Nate Query, and drummer and John Moen.

Over the years, the band have released a collection of six records, finding more and more success with each attempt - their latest, 2011’s ‘The King is Dead’, topped the Billboard 200 and earned them a Grammy nomination. However, the best place to experience The Decemberists is live on stage, where they’ve become known for their energetic and eclectic performances.

True entertainers, they ended their hiatus in 2014 for a handful of US shows and UK shows early in 2015, before releasing a brand new album in 'What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World'.

The band would return with a new effort, 'I'll Be Your Girl', in March 2018. It's supported by a North American tour in the summer and a UK and Ireland tour in November! Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.

Photo: Holly Andres On their eighth studio album, ‘I’ll Be Your Girl’, the Decemberists have taken a substantial risk. To a large extent, their folky, quirky core has disappeared and in its place you’ll find something unusual: synthesizers. In the words of frontman Colin Meloy, they experimented with “a lot of weird keyboards”.
