Named after an Allen Ginsburg poem, The Howl and The Hum are a York based band who experiment with electronic textures, transatlantic rock sounds, and classic songwriting structures. The band is made up of Sam Griffiths, Conor Hirons, Bradley Blackwell and Jack Williams.
Their debut single, Godmanchester Chinese Bridge, was written about their grandparents' golden wedding anniversary, and it eventually became the lead single on their first EP of the same name, which fetured two other tracks, Manea and Terrorforming.
Recently, they've been featured on BBC Radio 1 on Huw Stevens' show, and also on BBC Radio 6 Music with Steve Lamacq.
Following the success of their 2018 UK Portrait Tour, and fresh from a BBC Introducing show, The Howl and The Hum will head to Camden Assembly in July. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
