Tina Knowles is a fashion designer, businesswoman and philanthropist from Galveston, Texas.
Perhaps best known for being the mother of global superstars Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, she began her fashion career as a costume designer for Destiny's Child, and has gone on to have a hugely successful career, going on to launch her own clothing lines—House of Deréon and Miss Tina—as well as designing costumes for a number of films, including Dreamgirls, Pink Panther and Austin Powers. She was honoured for her services to fashion at the Accessories Council Excellence Awards in 2001. In addition to this work, she has also hosted her own Facebook talk show series and set up a number of charities and philanthropic ventures. Tina Knowles will support the release of her new book, Matriarch, with a special show at London's Royal Festival Hall on June 4, 2025.
