Jeffrey Scot Tweedy - best known simply as Jeff Tweedy - is an American alt-rock and alt-country musician hailing from Belleville, Illinois. Born in 1967, Tweedy is perhaps best known as the frontman of Wilco and Uncle Tupelo.
As well as his part in bands, Tweedy can sometimes be seen touring as a solo act, and in 2014, the two-time Grammy Award winner revealed his plans to release the first record of his new project Tweedy, a band he formed with his son Spencer.
