Vance Joy, real name James Keogh is an Australian folk-pop singer-songwriter from Melbourne. He is best known for the song Riptide.
Releasing his debut single Riptide in 2013, he found himself in the Top 10 of the ARIA chart. He followed with the release of his debut album, ‘God Loves You When You're Dancing', later in the year. His debut album, ‘Dream Your Life Away’, came out in 2014 and reached #1 in Australia and #20 in the UK Albums Chart. His latest album, 'Nation of Two', is due for release on February 23.
He has headlined his own shows and tours across the world, including supporting Taylor Swift on her ‘1989’ tour. Vance returned in 2017 with a new song, Lay It on Me, and another, Like Gold, in November the same year.
Vance Joy has lined up a European headline tour, hitting the UK and Ireland in March 2018 for dates in Leeds, London, Dublin, Glasgow, Bristol and Manchester, and don't forget the previously announced headline show at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire.
