The nominees for this 2010's Mercury Prize have just been announced at the Covent Garden Hospital Club; including the Foals, Biffy Clyro, Paul Weller, Wild Beasts, The xx and Paul Weller.
The full list of lucky 12 nominees are listed below, but we at Stereoboard.com are struggling to decide who deserves it! The second Foals album is beautifully brilliant, whilst the Wild Beasts debut was a real treat...decisions, decisions.

After the announcements the crowd was treated to exclusive acoustic performances from Villagers, who played the rousing Becoming A Jackal, and Corinne Bailey Rae, who stunned the room with a captivating rendition of The Sea.
