Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro have certainly blown up in the past couple of years - even earning a spot as headliner at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals. But they don’t want their achievements to stop there, and they’ve got an even bigger role in their sights - becoming pope!
The band made the Beatles-esque statement via Twitter last night, as their #AskBiffy hashtag - used for a question and answer session with fans - overtook the news of a new pope in the Twitter trends.
They wrote:
The band are currently on a similar status level as the pope following the release of their #1 double album ‘Opposites’, so if you’re a fan, now is the time to go and check out their amazing live show!
