Metallica Unveil Trailer For New 3D IMAX Film 'Metallica: Through The Never' - Watch Now

Heavy metal heroes Metallica have unveiled the trailer for their up and coming 3D concert film ‘Metallica: Through the Never’.

The film is set to be released in IMAX theatres on September 27th later this year, and to get their fans excited, they’ve released a one-and-a-bit minute long teaser trailer - which you can check out below.

Shot in Vancouver, British Columbia last year, the film is half a storytelling narrative, and half an epic live concert film, which promises an ‘IMAX 3D event like you’ve never seen’, a ‘concert like you’ve never heard’, and ‘Metallica like you’ve never experienced’.

Featuring their classic track ‘Master of Puppets’, it quickly changes between live shots of the band and the crowd, and wild scenes featuring a car crash, hundreds of fighting rioters, and even a dude on a horse. Freakin’ rad, if you ask us.

The band are currently working on what will be their 10th studio album, but with work on that taking a little longer than expect, this new trailer and ensuing movie is just what fans need to keep their Metallica thirsts quenched for the time being.

Check out the trailer below - and stick with Stereoboard for future updates on the band!
