American alt-rock stars Pixies performed their brand new track Indie Cindy on US chat show Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
The band surprised their fans with four-track collection 'EP-1' earlier this month, following up their recent comeback single Bagboy.
One of that EP’s tracks - Indie Cindy - was performed live by Black Francis and co. on Fallon’s Late Night show last night, ahead of their UK tour later this year, and their London Roundhouse gig for iTunes Festival on September 25.
The band, who recently parted ways with long-time bassist Kim Deal, claimed that if they want to ‘keep touring like this’, they’ll have to keep the material flowing, which is exactly what they’re planning - fans can expect around four more EPs in the future, and another before the end of the year.
A recent interview told us that the EP was the first in a ‘series of mini-releases’, and as manager, Richard Jones has said, it doesn’t look like the band are going to ‘play by [the] rules’ and release an album.
