Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators Unveil Video For Driving Rain

Slash, Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators have released a video accompanying their song, Driving Rain.
The track serves as the first single off the band's third studio album, 'Living The Dream', which was released last week via Snakepit/Roadrunner Records. The clip, meanwhile, features a live action, animated adventure with ragdoll puppets. Discussing it in a statement, Slash said:
"The idea behind doing an animated video for Driving Rain is mostly due to the dark subject matter of the song influencing directors to come up with very dramatic, dark and sullen regular live action treatments that weren’t any fun at all (no offense to those guys). So, I wanted to create something that could be tongue-in-cheek and yet still be dark with live-action animation. We're all big fans of Stoopid Buddy and they came up with a great concept and treatment. We love the video and it came out brilliant. FYI, no puppets were harmed during the making of this video."
Slash, Kennedy and band recently launched their North American tour and will visit 20 major cities before ending on October 16 back in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Palladium. The band then head to the UK and Europe in February and March. Tickets are on sale now.
