The Hold Steady have released their first new music of 2019.

The Last Time That She Talked To Me was recorded at Isokon Studios in Woodstock, New York alongside producer Josh Kaufman and engineer D. James Goodwin.

Slated for release on March 8 via Frenchkiss Records, the swaggering, horn-infused track is the ninth in a series of singles released by the band over the past 15 months, following Confusion In The Marketplace b/w T-Shirt Tux, The Stove And The Toaster b/w Star 18, Eureka b/w Esther, and Entitlement Crew b/w A Snake In The Shower. They released their last album, 'Teeth Dreams', in 2014.

You can stream the new song at the New Yorkers' Bandcamp page ahead of The Weekender in London, that will see the band play the Electric Ballroom in Camden on March 8 and 9, followed by a more intimate gig at Oslo in Hackney on March 10.

Following their UK dates, the band will return to North America for a spring tour commencing on May 16 in New Jersey.

The Hold Steady Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Fri March 08 2019 - LONDON Electric Ballroom
Sat March 09 2019 - LONDON Electric Ballroom
