Thunder Announce Birmingham And Manchester Christmas Shows

Thunder have announced a brace of shows for their annual Christmas outing.
The British rock stalwarts will take over the O2 Academy Birmingham and Manchester Academy on December 20 and 21 respectively, with tickets for the shows on general sale at 10am on May 31. On social media, they said:
"Yes indeed peeps, we'll be whipping out the fake spruce trees and the dodgy inflatables once again this December, and for the first time ever, we'll play two Xmas shows in two different cities. We'll be at the O2 Academy in Birmingham on December 20th, followed by Manchester Academy on the 21st.
"We can’t play everywhere, and we don’t think it’s fair to ask folk to travel from one end of the country to the other, so these venues were chosen because they’re both centrally located.
"The shows will be the usual two set affair. The first will be sit down, followed by some jumping up and down in the second. The set lists will be a mixture of Thunder songs, plus covers we’ve always wanted to play.
"Additionally, vocalist Danny Bowes and guitarist Luke Morley will play a string of shows at more intimate venues during October on their Unplugged and Unscripted: An Evening of Conversation and Music Tour."
