Bruce Springsteen has released a new track.
Tucson Train is the third, following Hello Sunshine and There Goes My Miracle, to be shared from his new album, 'Western Stars', which is due out on June 14. When announcing the record, The Boss explained it was heavily influenced by southern California pop artists of the 1960s and early 1970s.
The new song is the most uplifting of the three cuts, with strings and a small, yet effective, horn section ensuring Springsteen's storytelling is enhanced, but never overshadowed. It arrives with a performance video by Grammy and Emmy Award-winning director Thom Zimny, who also worked on the Springsteen on Broadway Netflix special and The Ties That Bind documentary about the 'The River' album.
Springsteen also confirmed in a recent interview with Italy's La Repubblica that he's written a new album for the E Street Band, which he hopes to record later this year and tour in 2020. He said: "I’ll record with the E Street Band in autumn and, when we are done, we’ll go on tour."
