Bruce Springsteen Releases New Single Hello Sunshine

Friday, 26 April 2019 Written by Laura Johnson

Bruce Springsteen has released a new single.

Hello Sunshine is the first track to be taken from his recently announced new album, 'Western Stars', which is due out on June 14 and was inspired by Southern California pop records of the late 1960s and early '70s.

The song begins as a pared back number, which allows the timbre of The Boss's voice to truly resonate. Gradually and subtly layers are added to the guitar-led backdrop, first strings, then keys, until you're surrounded by a beautifully rich soundscape that has completely drawn you into Sprinsteen's story.
