Mika is back!
The impossibly high-pitched vocalist and songwriter, best known for the 2007 single Grace Kelly, has announced a new album. ‘My Name Is Michael Holbrook’ is due to arrive on October 4 through Republic Records.
The news comes alongside the record’s first cut, Ice Cream, which sees Holbrook commenting on the environmental crisis when he sings “39 degrees, too hot for the bees. The faucet keeps on dripping, the clock it keeps on ticking.” Either that, or he’s just having a chilled out day in the sunshine, enjoying his ice cream in peace.
Check it out below.
Mika supports his new album with the Revolution Tour, which so far includes a date at the Shepherd's Bush Empire on November 10 and a full run in Europe, running through from November to February 2020. Tickets go on sale at 9am on June 7 for the UK, with Europe going on sale at 10am.
Mika Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Sun November 10 2019 - LONDON O2 Shepherds Bush Empire
