MIKA Announces New Album 'Hyperlove' With New Single Immortal Love

MIKA has laid out plans for a new album.
The BRIT Award-winning and Grammy-nominated artist will release 'Hyperlove' via Republic Records on January 23, marking his first English-language studio album since 2019's 'My Name Is Michael Holbrook', though he dropped 'Que ta tête fleurisse toujours' in 2023.
Written entirely starting on piano and crafted solely with analogue and vintage equipment, the record looks at the digital world and human emotions, with MIKA describing it as, "the electricity that jumps between the plus and minus of a charge... hyper-love and hyper-living are about embracing that euphoria that helps you make sense of the world around you."
It'll include the singer-songwriter's recent single Modern Times, as well as the newly shared Immortal Love, a dancey, upbeat pop track.
MIKA will kick off his biggest European tour yet in February, which includes a performance at London's OVO Arena Wembley on February 11 and Manchester's AO Arena on February 12, followed by North American dates in the spring.
He'll also kick off Cardiff's Pride season with a June 12 performance at Cardiff Castle for the Depot Live series, joined by The Feeling and Gwenno, before headlining the On The Mount at Wasing concert series in Berkshire the next day. Tickets are on sale now.
