Alex Cameron Announces New Album 'Miami Memory' And Accompanying UK Tour Dates

Alex Cameron has announced his next album and a world tour.
Produced by Foxygen's Jonathan Rado, 'Miami Memory' is scheduled to arrive on September 13 via Secretly Canadian, followed by UK and European shows in September and October with saxophonist/business partner Roy Molloy. Cameron will continue to support the record with a North American tour during November and December. Tickets are on sale now.
Alongside the news, the Australian singer-songwriter has shared the new single Divorce, an '80s style pop tune which arrives with a video directed by Michael Hili. It follows the record's previously released title track, which emerged last month.
"When you listen to these songs, and you’re waiting for the twist, or the joke, or any kind of discomfort, I can assure you none of those things were there when I wrote them.
"These are true stories, of actual events. Specific but never esoteric. And graphic but never offensive. 'Miami Memory' is the story of a couple balancing sex with contemporary family values…It’s my gift to my girlfriend, a symbol to hoist on the totem of love."
