The pop megastar co-wrote and co-produced The Archer with Jack Antonoff, of Bleachers and Red Hearse. It's the latest to be lifted from her new album, 'Lover', which is slated to arrive on August 23. It will also feature her previously released tracks You Need To Calm Down and ME! featuring Brendon Urie.
During the simple, synth-led ballad Swift candidly sings, "I’ve been the archer, I’ve been the prey, Who could ever leave me darling...But who could stay?"
