Soccer Mommy Drops New Single Lucy

Thursday, 19 September 2019 Written by Helen Payne

Soccer Mommy has released a new single.

Lucy is the first material from the Nashville singer and songwriter since a demo called Blossom that arrived in February. Out on Loma Vista, the new track blends Sophie Allion’s light and airy vocals with a charmingly wonky guitar line.

Soccer Mommy put out her debut album, ‘Clean’, through Fat Possum in 2018. Check out our interview with her following its release here.

She also has tour plans in North America this year, including various headline dates and support slots for Vampire Weekend and Wilco.
