The Script Release New Single The Last Time

Friday, 20 September 2019 Written by Helen Payne

The Script have released a new single.

The Last Time is the first taste of a new album from the Irish pop band, which will arrive later this year.

With large-scale production and touching lyrics, the new song is a huge but heartbreaking track, building on the trio’s talent for melodies with a stadium-ready ballad. Its accompanying video continues their long-standing collaboration with director Charles Mehling, and stars the Polish model Anna Jogodzinska.

Vocalist Danny O’Donoghue commented that the song “is about the intense feelings you experience when you realise you may be seeing the one you love .... for the last time.”

The Script put out their fifth album, ‘Freedom Child’ in 2017.
