Pretenders Push Back Release Of New Album 'Hate For Sale', Share Title Track

Wednesday, 25 March 2020 Written by Laura Johnson

Pretenders have pushed back the release of their new album.

'Hate For Sale', the follow-up to 2016's 'Alone', will now arrive on July 17 instead of May 1. The band stated the rescheduling was "due to retail and shipment restrictions relating to Covid-19."

Alongside the news, they have also dropped the record's title track, a no-frills punk-rock offering that squeezes many a tasty riff into its two and a half minute running time.
