Deerhoof have announced their new album.

The Bay Area experimentalists will drop 'Future Teenage Cave Artists' via Joyful Noise Recordings on May 29.

Self-produced by the band's current lineup of Satomi Matsuzaki, Ed Rodriguez, John Dieterich and Greg Saunier, the record features 10 new songs with a closing piece by composer Johann Sebastian Bach.

Alongside the news, the quartet have shared the LP's first two singles, the title track and The Loved One, both soothing tracks that balance noise-pop and dreamy psychedelia.

Discussing the former, the band said they "wanted to express what it feels like knowing that the rebels are our only hope. Today's derelicts, romantics, and children are forced to be tomorrow's heroes."

Check them out below along with the album's tracklist and cover art by Benjamin Piekut. The band plan to announce some headline shows soon, following the postponement of their May and June dates.

'Future Teenage Cave Artists' tracklist:

1. Future Teenage Cave Artists
2. Sympathy For The Baby Boo
3. The Loved One
4. O Ye Saddle Babes
5. New Orphan Asylum For Spirited Deerchildren
