Ed O'Brien Teams Up With Laura Marling For New EOB Single Cloak Of The Night

Tuesday, 14 April 2020 Written by Sophie Williams

Ed O'Brien has unveiled a new single.

The Radiohead guitarist continues to tease his forthcoming full-length release, 'Earth', his debut album under his new EOB moniker that's set to land on April 17.

The LP will feature a number of collaborations, including tracks with Wilco drummer Glenn Kotche, Portishead guitarist Adrian Utley and Radiohead bandmate Colin Greenwood, among others.

Cloak Of The Night marks the fourth track to be lifted from 'Earth', following the previously released Olympik, Shangri-La and Brasil. The single steers away from EOB's terrority of vibrant electronica; here, gentle guitar lines are interwoven with supple vocals from Laura Marling to work up a dreamy acoustic number.

'Earth’ tracklist:

1. Shangri-La
2. Brasil
3. Deep Days
4. Long Time Coming
5. Mass
6. Banksters
7. Sail On
8. Olympik
9. Cloak of the Night

EOB is currently still set to head out on an extensive North American tour throughout the summer. Check out further details below.
