The Avalanches have announced the release date for their third album.

'We Will Always Love You' is set to land via Astralwerks on December 11, four years on from 'Wildflower', which arrived 16 years after the Melbourne electronic group's seminal debut full-length 'Since I Left You'.

It'll feature their two newly shared singles: Take Care In Your Dreams and Music Makes Me High. The former mixes shimmering synths and vocal hooks with booming production from Tricky and rapid-fire verses from Denzel Curry and Sampa The Great. The latter, meanwhile, is a slice of sample-based disco-pop. Press play below.

Other guest singers and writers on the LP include Blood Orange, Rivers Cuomo, rapper Pink Siifu, Jamie XX, Neneh Cherry, Clypso, the Clash's Mick Jones, Sananda Maitreya, and Vashti Bunyan.

The body of work was inspired by the relationship between astronomer Carl Sagan and producer Ann Druyan, whose image adorns the album cover.
