Slowthai has released a new song.
Feel Away featuring James Blake and Mount Kimbie is the first official single to be shared from the British rapper's new album, the follow-up to his Mercury Prize-nominated debut 'Nothing Great About Britain. He said:
“This song is about the doubts we have whether it be within friendships, your partner or with our family. It’s about putting yourself in the other person’s shoes so you have a better understanding of the situation.”
The track offers up a more subdued vibe than we've come to expect from Slowthai's previous material and is complemented well by Blake's soulful vocals. It follows his spring singles BB (BODYBAG), MAGIC and ENEMY. Head below to check out the song's bizarre, Oscar Hudson-directed video.
The Northampton native has also been keeping busy with collaborations, appearing alongside Slaves on the Gorilaz single Momentary Bliss at the start of the year and more recently with Aminé on Disclosure's track My High in July.
