The Avalanches have revealed a new single.

The drum machine-assisted Interstellar Love boasts a sublime guest vocal from Leon Bridges and a mighty, lilting synth section, as well as sampling the Alan Parson Project's 1982 hit Eye In The Sky. The band's Robbie Chater said of the collaboration:

“Leon is an incredible singer, with just the most beautiful voice. He’s from Texas but we both happened to be in LA at the same time, which was lucky as he was on my all-time wish list. When we were in the studio, I told him the story about Ann Druyan and Carl Sagan and how her love-struck brain waves were sent out into space on the Voyager’s Golden Record. And this this song came out of that.”

The glimmering track is taken from the Australian group's forthcoming third studio album, 'We Will Always Love You', which is set to arrive on December 11. The new LP will mark their first full-length release since 2016's Wildflower'.
