Björk and Iceland's Hamrahlíð Choir have combined for a rendition of Sonnets.
The a cappella version will appear on the choir's forthcoming album, 'Come And Be Joyful', along with another Björk reworking, Cosmogony, which was released as a single earlier in November having originally featured on her 2011 17th studio LP 'Biophilia'.
Sonnets, from Björk’s 2004 album 'Medúlla', was composed by the experimental singer and was first performed by the choir as part of the set for her 2019 Cornucopia Tour.
'Come and Be Joyful' is due out this Friday (December 4) via One Little Independent Records. Björk's last album, meanwhile, was 2017’s ‘Utopia’.
In August, she performed three orchestral livestream shows in partnership with Iceland Airwaves Festival to benefit domestic women's charities worldwide. Her 2020 European tour dates have been rescheduled to summer 2021 in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Bjork Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
