Sleaford Mods Share New Track Nudge It Feat Amy Taylor Of Amyl and The Sniffers

Sleaford Mods have teamed up with Amy Taylor of Amyl and the Sniffers for a new track.
Nudge It is the third cut, following Mork n Mindy and Shortcummings, to be shared from the duo's new album, 'Spare Ribs', which is due out on January 15.
The song finds Jason Williamson delivering scathing social and political commentary with his trademark monotone, yet impassioned vocals, with Taylor injecting some vigour into the latter half with a couple of standalone lines and support on the final choruses.
Introducing the track online, the band said:
"You’ve got limited options, unsure how you’re getting by that week, looking out the window of the damp flat you don’t want to live in, and seeing a bunch of posers having a photo shoot because ‘cool architecture bro, we feel your pain’.
Reduced circumstance isn’t a pantomime. If you haven’t lived within its confines don’t use it to enamour your ideas. It confuses the platform for those that truly live it and more often than not buries creative breakthroughs because the arena is polluted by the view of their world through someone else’s privileged lense.
So beware the eager networkers, don’t settle for the 20p payout, nudge it, pop the posers. And don’t apologise for the fucker either."

Sleaford Mods will support their new album with a headline UK and Ireland tour this winter. Tickets go on general sale at 10am this Friday (January 15).
Prior to that, the band will also celebrate the record's arrival with the SMtv event on their YouTube channel from 8pm GMT on January 16.
