Nine Inch Nails Unveil Video For Cover Of David Bowie's Fashion

Tuesday, 26 January 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

Nine Inch Nails have shared a video for their cover of David Bowie's Fashion.

The multi-screen clip features the industrial rock band's Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, as well as Reznor's wife and singer Mariqueen Maandig Reznor, performing their dark version of the 1980 classic. It's interspersed with footage from the recent all-star A David Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day with alumni from the icon's bands.

Rolling Live Studios, the virtual events and production company that put on the socially distanced show, said in a statement:

"On January 9, 2021 Trent Reznor, Mariqueen Maandig Reznor, and Atticus Ross helped celebrate David Bowie's life and legacy by performing a rendition of Fashion for A Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day!

"Even with COVID restrictions leaving us with a limited crew, the show went on and received great reviews and reception. We worked with the NIN creative camp after the concert livestream cutting together this performance to include the Bowie alumni band members who played with Trent, Mariqueen and Atticus – this is the performance we wanted everyone to see during the livestream and are thrilled you get the chance to now do so."

Back in spring 2020, Nine Inch Nails surprise released two new albums, 'Ghost V:Together' and 'Ghosts VI: Locusts'. Head here for further details.
