Squid Announce Debut Album 'Bright Green Field', Post New Track Narrator

Squid have unveiled details of their debut album.
Produced by Dan Carey, 'Bright Green Field' will arrive on May 7 through Warp Records and feature the newly shared cut Narrator with guest vocalist Martha Skye Murphy.
The eight-minute track taps into the band's trademark frenzied art-pop aesthetic and builds to a dramatic screaming finale. Head below to view its accompanying Felix Green-directed video, which combines live action footage with 3D animation — there's also the record's artwork and tracklist.
"This is the debut album we've always wanted to make and without a doubt the most ambitious thing we’ve ever done," said the band. "Thank you to everyone involved in the making of this record, we're so proud of it."
The London post-punks put out their debut EP 'Town Centre' in 2019 before dropping the singles Sludge and Broadcaster via their new label Warp the following year.
Squid have also rescheduled their spring UK and Ireland tour to September and October in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, their rescheduled summer UK shows remain unaffected. Original tickets remain valid for the corresponding new dates.
